Andrew Byer Attorney was born in 1962 in Jersey City, New Jersey, and his Italian immigrant mother profoundly influenced him. This experience gave him a profound appreciation for diverse cultures from an early age. His formative years included significant time spent in Italy, where he became fluent in Italian and developed a global perspective that would later be instrumental in his legal career. He completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1984, and furthered his international exposure with a study abroad stint in France.
After graduating from Syracuse University College of Law in 1987, Andrew relocated to South Florida to start his legal career. His first significant role involved managing complex lease negotiations and tenant relations as a Lease Administrator and Legal Counsel for the Miracle Marketplace shopping mall in Coral Gables.
Andrew's career took a decisive turn toward international business in 1990 when he became the Director of Operations for Maria Pia, an Italian footwear company. In this role, he managed the company's shutdown of U.S. operations, demonstrating his proficiency in cross-cultural business dealings. He continued to build on this experience from 1991 to 1994 as General Counsel and Director of International Sales at Intracorp, Inc., a video gaming software company. Here, Andrew secured critical licensing agreements with Hollywood studios, facilitating the creation of video games based on popular films and significantly expanding the company’s international footprint.
In 1994, Andrew founded the Law Offices of Andrew Alexander Byer, where he specialized in assisting European companies in establishing their presence in the U.S. market. His multilingual skills and international law expertise uniquely combined legal counsel and strategic business advice.
Andrew’s interest in high-fidelity sound systems led him to open Magnum Opus Audio in 2007, a high-end audio and home theater equipment store in Fort Lauderdale. Although he later pivoted to real estate due to changing market conditions, he founded AJ&J Holdings, LLC, and more recently, Bozhlona, Inc., a property management company, in 2024.
Andrew is also an avid traveler and philanthropist, committed to community service and animal welfare.
